Depends of what are you after but usually the best shopping experiences are often available on the streets of CBD or on numerous weekend markets. Here we are coming with a tips of popular places for shopping in Sydney.

Westfield Warringah Mall

Another Westfield in Sydney’s Northern Beaches located in suburb of Brookvale, approximately 15 km from CBD. Boasting with shops, entertainment features such as cinema or huge food court, it is that kind of place where one can spend the whole day shopping and in the afternoon go to the beach to catch some sunshine or waves – what a perfect day. The third largest shopping centre by floorspace in New South Wales is at the moment undergoing a massive $310 million renovation project with completion scheduled by late 2016. At the end of the reconstruction project the mall will have 70 shops more and a Centre Court which is planned to be an unique feature and a social hub of Westfield Warringah Mall with complementary Wi-Fi connectivity. Despite the redevelopment it is still open to public with some safety arrangements offering over 270 retailers, food courts and free parking. Alexandria Outlets

It is one of Sydney’s best kept secret and many people still don’t know about existence of various factory outlet shops located in Alexandria. This inner-east suburb is largely industrial providing a home to factories, warehouses, shops, bars and restaurants. Just 4 km from CBD it is easily accessible by train or car however to come here with a car could mean struggling with parking spots. If you take a green line and get off at Green Square Station head left straight to Botany Road (Redfern, city direction). Right on the corner of Green Square crossroad there in Ron Benett outlet store. Follow the Botany Road and after few minutes of walking check the left side where are New Balance & Puma shops. Other great sport brand called Lonsdale has it’s headquarters, warehouse & shop situated in Mascot on the corner of Gardeners and Kent Road. When new collections are coming they have to empty the warehouse so the sales are great and shopping experience is pleasant.

Harbourside Shopping Centre

Located just steps from the waters of Darling Harbour, minutes of walking from busy CBD and with spectacular views of Sydney’s skyline, Harbourside offers an exceptional dining, leisure and shopping experience. In 2005 after massive refurbishment had grown to a modern meeting point with extended food court and a new entertainment level with 20-lane bowling centre, laser tag venue and Boeing 737-800 flight simulator. Central Park, Sydney

A modern urban development project situated in Chippendale is one of the most exciting and interesting shopping places in the whole Sydney. One Central Park, which is part of the complex, won a first placein International Best Tall Building award in 2014.  DFO Homebush (Direct Factory Outlet)
